Allandale Cottage
ALLAN and GAIL STEPHEN warmly welcome you to their gracious and comfortable cottage. Situated on a working citrus farm in the fertile Sunday River Valley. This secure facility is 1 hour from Port Elizabeth and 30 minutes from the Addo Elephant National Park. The tranquil setting of the farm is unique and peaceful, surrounded by orchards of citrus, which can be explored. The Sundays River area has abundant bird life, and is malaria free.
ALLANDALE COTTAGE is a fully equipped cottage with 2 luxury bedrooms ( one king size bed with electric blanket, and two single beds with electric blankets) tastefully decorated and sleeps 4 people comfortably. It is comfortably furnished and fully equipped for self-catering (no meals provided), Braai facilities (wood provided), satellite television, and is let out as one unit. Allandale cottage is easily accessible by car. Linen and towels are supplied and there is mobile phone reception. This is a non-smoking unit.
ALLANDALE COTTAGE is garden facing with a private entrance and your own lounge, dinning room, and a fully equipped kitchen, as well as a veranda to enjoy the tranquil atmosphere of the Valley in the evenings whilst enjoying the sunset.

Route Description
From Port Elizabeth:
Take the R 75 towards Graaff-Reinet until the first Kirkwood turn-of (appr. 60 km). Turn right and stay on this road until the T-junction (appr. 15 km). Turn right at the T junction and after appr. 12 km turn left at the signs Dunbrody road and Allandale Cottage. Turn onto this gravel road, and travel for 7 km’s going through two rivers. You'll pass two farms, and the third farm is ALLANDALE Farm, turn in at the gate, and follow the white stones to the main farm house. Allandale cottage is on the left hand side, and the office is on the right hand side.
