Dave and Judy Smith welcome you to their farm "Avoca" which means "the meeting of the waters". Here they grow oranges and lemons, for export. On the farm you'll find self catering chalets, wood cabins and mud huts. All on the Sundays River where birdlife is in abundance and fishing is great. There is the tree house with two en-suite rooms and a kitchen. The bush camp has a chalet and two wood cabins and a lapa with communal kitchen. Furthermore there is the river camp with four ethnic mud huts and four chalets overlooking the river.

Tree Tops cabin      Self-Catering Chalet

If you're lucky to book the Tree Tops cabin you'll enjoy the view on the river through the tree tops. On the banks of the Sunday's River are the typical 'African Mudhuts' which are cool in the summer and warm in the winter. If you take a few steps from the huts you can sit and enjoy a drink on the Sundowner deck on the river or have a swim. At request there are some canoe's available for a stroll down the river and fishing gear for those who enjoy this relaxing hobby.

Riverside Thatched Chalets

If you are interested in a Game Drive on a Private Game Reserve, an elephant back ride or a trip on quad bikes we can make bookings for these activities.
