Come and join us as we celebrate the flowering of the roses in the Sundays River Valley for the 27th time. A squad of decorators, flower arrangers and organisers are working hard to ensure that the blooms are displayed in their full glory. The Addo Rose and Garden Show is held in the historic Valentine Hall in Addo - less than 30 minutes drive from Port Elizabeth.
. Our themed rose display will celebrate "Through the garden gate" with various garden rooms being entered, each through a different style of gate. The Addo Rose & garden show shall start with a Gala Previeuw evening "Country cabaret and canapes" on Friday the 8th of October 2010. Tickets are available @ R 150 per person. Contact Marina on 082 834 8765. The Addo Rose and Garden Show is a fund-raising event to support charities in the Sundays River Valley. It is a project of the Sundays River Woman's Institute. (Fund Raising number 000-746-NPO). Projects which have benefited from the funds include creches, libraries, vegetable gardens, wheel chairs for the aged and HIV/Aids.
