For an unforgettable riverside experience

RELAX - UNWIND

Here you can enjoy an abundance of birdlife, including Fish Eagles, Kingfishers, African Darters, Herons, Owls, Sunbirds, and many more, while sitting on the expansive sundeck which stretches the length of the lodge and overlooks the river.

At the water's edge is a floating pontoon where you can sit and fish or just dangle your feet in the cool water and watch the wonderful variety of waterfowl that the river has to offer. If you are really lucky you may even spot the monitor lizard, mongoose, dassies, small buck or cape otters. There are three rooms each of which have their own private access from the deck. They are all light and spacious with en-suite bathrooms and are tastefully decorated in natural colours. Tea and coffee facilities are supplied as well as large ceiling fans and wall heaters to add to your personal comfort. There is a double room, a twin/ king, and a family room which boasts an extra-long queen sized bed and a futon which converts to a comfortable double bed. Each room has dual aspect views taking in the river one side and the entrance, luscious green fields and practice putting green on the other side.

Breakfasts are served in the dining room which is open to the deck in summer and warmed by a large log fire in winter. Delicious home cooked light lunches, evening meals and braai's may be provided by prior arrangement if required.

We are just minutes from the Main Gate of Addo Elephant National Park and close to some of the region's leading private safari parks which complement it. Game viewings, sunrise and sunset drives, as well as other excursions, can be arranged upon request.
