Sibuya is a magnificent, malaria-free Big 5 game reserve spanning the meandering Kariega River.
After arriving at Sibuya's reception near the river mouth in Kenton-on-Sea, guests embark on a meandering 40-minute boat cruise. On arrival at either of our camps, guests settle into their accommodation, luxury en-suite tents on raised wooden decks. With just eight luxury tents in our Forest Camp and four tents in our River Camp, professional guides are able to offer personalised game drives, rewarding walks and exclusive boat trips.
The ancient floodplains and pristine coastal forest host an abundance of wildlife: nearly 400 bird species and 45 species of game including the Big Five. The lush vegetation ensures a high density of wildlife and an outstanding game-viewing experience. The unequalled splendour of the vistas, with the ocean as their backdrop, will leave you saying Sibuya, we will return.

Route Description From Port Elizabeth:
Traveling on the N2 from Port Elizabeth, take the R72 to Port Alfred, pass Boesmansriviermond /Bushmans River and then turn right into Kenton-on-Sea. This is Kariega Rd. Follow this road (Kariega Rd) down to the bottom of the hill. Just before you get to the river, turn left into Eastbourne Rd. Our Reception Office with secure parking is at No. 39 Eastbourne Rd.You will check in at the reception and park your car there. You will be taken up the Kariega River by boat to Sibuya Game Reserve.
Route description from Grahamstown,
on the N2 just outside Grahamstown, take the R343 to Kenton-on- Sea. Travel for 47km to Kenton-on-Sea. This is Kariega Rd. Follow this road (Kariega Rd) down to the bottom of the hill. Just before you get to the river, turn left into Eastbourne Rd. Our Reception Office with secure parking is at No. 39 Eastbourne Rd.You will check in at the reception and park your car there. You will be taken up the Kariega River by boat to Sibuya Game Reserve.
