Slagboom Outdoors
Just when you're about to think this road is leading nowhere you see this spacious farmhouse named Pepper Tree that is often used to escape the hectic city life. The views you enjoy during the drive are characteristic for this area and simply beautiful. After arrival the sound of an occasional passing car is the only sound that disturbs the birds singing. In short this is an ideal spot to retreat.

The surroundings of Slagboom farmhouse are inviting you to walk through them, the view you enjoy while you Braai is at least worth mentioning.

All together Pepper Tree contains all the ingredients for a quiet journey back to basic.
When you follow the road you thought was leading to nowhere you'll find out it actually brings you somewhere. And here, at the banks of the river White, in the Addo Elephant National Park you'll bordered by citrus orchards, you'll find Nieshout Cottage.

Here you can enjoy a river swim, a barbecue, or go fishing or canoeing and at Langman river camp the you'll enjoy the luxury of an ablution block with a hot shower and a toilet. You'll notice that the stones provided by the river are being put to good use but you can make sure the owners are very careful not to do anything to disturb nature's balance. This is Eco tourism in its true form!
