Day 1

On arrival at Port Elizabeth airport you shall be welcomed by a representative of Greater Addo Tours. She shall assist you with obtaining your rental vehicle and help you on your way to your first guesthouse.
You shall spend your first night at Moya Manzi Guesthouse. This is the ideal environment to shake of your travel fatique. Just step from the patio with pool and Jacuzzi onto the beach and take a relaxing stroll on Paradise Beach.

   

Day 2 and 3

Day 2 and 3 After breakfast you shall leave for Haaspoort Private Nature Reserve in Kleinpoort. Haaspoort Bushcamp captures the serenity and beauty of the Karoo. The Bushcamp is situated on a 2000-hectare malaria-free private nature reserve, home to a large variety of wildlife and rare flora. You shall stay in a thatched en-suite chalets complete with timber deck overlooking the river that offers you all the privacy and comfort you need for an enchanting African safari. Enjoy a sunset game drive or bush walk or simply relax by the pool and watch the day slip away.

Day 4

 After breakfast you shall be on your way to Woodall Country House & Spa, situated closely to the main entrance of the Addo Elephant National Park. At a leisurely pace you can be your own guide and try and spot the Big 5. Alternatively you can book yourself onto a guided game drive in the park. You shall spend the evening at Woodall Country House and Spa where if you so choose a culinary feast awaits you. If the (dirt) roads in the park where to bumpy for you, you can choose from an extensive menu to be pampered in the Spa.

Day 5

Now you have seen enough Elephants up in big herds or close, playing in the water maybe you are now up to another challenge... feed or ride one. You shall have that opportunity at your next accommodation, Elephant Camp. After a scenic drive you shall arrive at a haven of luxury on the top of the Zuurberg Mountains that includes a Jacuzzi on you private veranda.

 

Day 6 & 7

 After a sumptuous breakfast you shall be on your way to Kariega Game Reserve. Kariega Game Reserve prides itself in the abundance of general game and birdlife supplementing the Big-5. Wonderful sightings of Lion, Elephant, Buffalo, Rhino, Hippo, Giraffe, Zebra and numerous antelope species can be enjoyed in addition to resident Martial, Crowned and Fish Eagles. In addition to superb morning and evening game viewing from open vehicles with experienced Game Rangers, Kariega is unique in offering safe walks close to abundant game and birdlife. Kariega also offers a diversity of activities which include river cruises on the popular Kariega Queen, canoeing, mountain biking and swimming in beautiful river pools. You shall spend two nights in the luxurious River Lodge that is situated on the tidal Bushmans River. Here, you can unwind in front of warm log fires, enjoy sumptuous cuisine or simply share experiences of the African bush. Alternatively you can take the boat and have a picnic on the beach of Kenton-on-sea.

   

day 8 and 9

You shall spend your last two nights in Elephants Footprint Lodge in Colchester, half an hours drive from Port Elizabeth. Here you can relax in comfort and style and get ready for your last encounter with the Big 7. Alternatively you can visit the Alexandria Dunefields or relax at the pool.

Day 10

 Today this Bush & Beach experience comes to an end. After Breakfast you shall head back to the airport, hand in your car and go home.
